Two injured in three vehicle crash

May 10—GOSHEN — A South Bend man and a Mishawaka woman were injured in a three-vehicle crash which took place early Friday morning in Elkhart County.

Clarence Jackson, 31, was heading west in the area of 30142 Old US 20 at 5:50 a.m. when his 2007 Toyota Corolla went left of center and collided with an eastbound 2017 Ford F-150 driven by Daniel Scott, 43, Mishawaka, according to an Elkhart County Sheriff's Office report.

Patricia Buck, 62, was driving behind Scott's vehicle in a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan and was unable to stop and rear ended Scott's vehicle.

Jackson suffered a severe laceration to his chin, broken ribs and a broken nose from the crash and Buck suffered a bruise to her leg. No injuries were listed for Scott on the report. Blood was drawn on all three drivers and the results are pending, and Jackson was cited for driving left of center and with no financial responsibility.
