Two injured in crash on Kesler Mill Road in Salem

SALEM, Va. (WFXR)– The Salem Police Department reports two people were taken to the hospital after a crash on Kesler Mill Road on Saturday, April 27.

According to the police department, officers responded at 11:40 a.m. to a report of an accident on Kesler Mill Rd. between Garst St. and Pine Bluffs Dr.

During their initial investigation, officers determined that the crash involved a Ford Mustang and a Mazda SUV. There is no indication of what caused the crash at this time.

Police say the two drivers involved were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Kesler Mill Rd. was closed for around three hours as crews worked to clean up and investigate the scene. It reopened at 3:00 p.m. to normal traffic flow.
