Two deputies near Wisconsin/Minnesota border injured executing a warrant

MINNETONKA, Minn. (WFRV) – Two deputies in eastern Minnesota were reportedly injured after executing a warrant in Minnetonka.

According to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, on April 10 around 11:15 a.m., authorities were executing a warrant in Minnetonka. Two deputies reportedly received non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the deputies was sent to a hospital for further care, while the other was reportedly treated and released at the scene.

Multiple agencies were at the scene, and there was no reported threat to the general public. The incident is reportedly being investigated by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Minnetonka is just over 40 miles west of the border of Wisconsin.
