Two decades of Beeper Egg Hunt fun continues at Greystone Park

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A day of egg hunting and family fun is on the horizon for some in southwest Bakersfield.

On March 9, the annual Beeper Egg Hunt is set to run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Greystone Park, according to organizers. The egg hunt will contain beeping eggs for children with vision impairments or disabilities.

Wayfinder Family Services and Valley Center for the Blind will be providing lunch, face paintings and activities for the whole family.

“Wayfinder is thrilled to bring the Beeper Egg Hunt to the Bakersfield area and grateful for our partnership with the Valley Center for the Blind,” said Faith Cardenas with Wayfinder Family Services. “This inclusive event brings together families of infants and children who are blind or visually impaired so that they can enjoy the fun of a traditional egg hunt.”
