Two people were killed and two injured as Russia shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the morning of May 9, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head, Serhiy Lysak, reported.

A 62-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were killed.

Two men aged 39 and 67 were injured.

A private home caught fire and two more were damaged. Five apartment buildings were also shelled.

A shop, two trade pavilions, utility structures, and a gas pipeline were hit.

The Russians attacked Nikopol three times in the evening of May 8, first with attack drones, then with Grad multiple rocket launchers.

A private house was damaged in the strikes.
