Two civilians killed, four injured in daytime Russian strike on Mykolaiv

Two people are dead and another four injured after a daytime Russian strike on Mykolaiv, Governor Vitalyi Kim reported.

A powerful explosion was reported before an air raid alert was even declared.

The Air Force warned about a missile threat for the Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.

Russia’s mass missile & drone attack on April 11

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight on April 11 with Shahed kamikaze drones, cruise missiles from Tu-95MS aircraft, Kinzhal ballistic missiles from MiG-31K aircraft, and guided air missiles from Su-34 jets.

Poland scrambled aviation during the attack.

At least 10 strikes were recorded in Kharkiv and Oblast, bringing more problems with power to the city.

The city of Stryi in Lviv Oblast also witnessed powerful hits.

A rocket hit an energy facility in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

The largest energy infrastructure object in Kyiv Oblast, Trypillya Thermal Plant, was devastated, Kyiv Regional Administration reported.

The energy infrastructure of four oblasts — Kyiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhya, and Kharkiv — came under attack, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said. Two DTEK thermal power plants were seriously damaged.

Russia launched 82 aerial threats at Ukraine overnight, with Ukrainian air defense forces destroying 57, including 18 missiles and 39 Shahed drones, the commander of the Air Force of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Mykola Oleshchuk, reported.
