Two Citronelle players commit to play college football

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two Citronelle Wildcats football players have committed to play at the collegiate level.

Senior quarterback Justin Adams committed to play for Huntingdon College in Montgomery on Sunday, March 31. The dual-threat quarterback and second-team All-State selection in 5A play accounted for eight passing touchdowns and seven rushing touchdowns in his senior year.

Senior offensive guard and center Bruce Smith committed to play for Birmingham Prep on Friday, March 29. The 6-1; 260-pound interior offensive lineman helped pave the way for the Wildcats averaging 94.5 rushing yards per game.

The Wildcats finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 6-4, their first winning season since 2019.
