Two charged with multiple retail thefts at T.J. Maxx

WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two men have been charged after police say they were part of multiple thefts throughout the area.

Wilkes-Barre Township Police say they arrested Charles Lakes, 56, of Newark, NJ & Carlone Bridges, 59, of Luzerne after they committed multiple retail thefts from TJ Maxx.

Drugs seized from Monroe County hotel room, three arrested

Police stated the car the pair were driving, a Silver Hyundai Accent had been linked to multiple other retail thefts throughout the area. Officers said a search warrant was issued on the Hyundai and various stolen items were found inside.

Both gave police false identification and have multiple prior convictions for retail theft, investigators noted.
