Two cars crash in Elmira on Tuesday evening

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) — Two vehicles were involved in a crash at an intersection in Elmira on Tuesday evening.

According to an 18 News Reporter at the scene, a black SUV struck the driver’s side of a silver car at the intersection of Walnut Street and West Clinton Street at about 7 p.m. on May 21. The front driver’s side door of the car sustained significant damage, and the front end of the SUV sustained minor damage. No serious injuries have been reported.

Police temporarily closed Walnut Street from West Fourth Street to West Third Street while clearing the scene.

The Elmira Police Department, the Elmira Fire Department, and Erway Ambulance responded to the crash.
