Their music is reminiscent of the popular ‘90s sound with the perfect blend of contemporary edge creating a unique style of their own, according to a tour release. They draw from diverse musical influences that include everyone from Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, and Ricky Skaggs to Brad Paisley, Justin Timberlake, and Michael Jackson.

Hailing from Greeneville, Tenn., an hour northeast of Knoxville at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains, creates the perfect foundation for the boys — with neighboring birthplaces of musical icons Dolly Parton and Kenny Chesney. The sons of a pastor, Jordan and Seth grew up in a musical family where fiddles, mandolins, guitars, and family harmony were at the forefront of all gatherings.

Their love and appreciation for music began at a very early age. The boys’ first performances were on the kitchen floor when they would drag out their parent’s pots and pans to create their makeshift drum set, the release says. Shortly after, they began their singing career performing worship songs at their parent’s church. They learned from their parents — their father was in southern gospel music with his family long before the boys were born so it’s in their blood.

“We fell in love with country records when I was 12 and Jordan was 15. I learned fiddle and Jordan learned acoustic guitar from records we liked, and it just went from there,” Seth said in a tour release. They credit Dolly Parton, bluegrass, mountain, and southern gospel music in addition to modern Country music for influencing their music today.

The brothers attended the University of Tennessee, Jordan majoring in architecture and Seth in finance with a concentration in entrepreneurship. While in college and excelling in the classroom, Jordan and Seth were hitting the road playing gigs four nights a week and jumped into music full time following graduation.

Dugger Band made its debut in the country music format with Fly in November 2014 and as they say, the rest is history. Jordan and Seth both sing lead, play multiple instruments, write their own songs, and produce their own records.

The Duggers are in high demand, performing more than 250 live shows a year with a strong national following. They perform at fairs, festivals, promote their own ticketed events, have had a residency at MGM in Las Vegas, and have graced the stage at notable venues including Wildhorse Saloon, Ole Red, Dollywood, Loretta’s Last Call, Loser’s Las Vegas, Bristol Motor Speedway, Gaylord Texan Resort Hotel & Convention Center.

Dugger Band has also released the albums East Tennessee Son (2018), Greek To Me (2020), Turnin’ The Night Up (2023), and a Christmas album, Sleigh Ride (2013 with a 10th anniversary re-release in 2023). Their sound is energetic and high-velocity that is overlaid by family harmony and back porch down-home vibes, the tour release says.

The brothers have enjoyed success on country radio nationally, released several official music videos, and continue writing and recording new music with Music City’s top songwriters and producers. They have shared the stage with iconic entertainers including Charlie Daniels, Charlie McCoy, Craig Morgan, John Rich, Josh Turner, Mandy Barnett, and Rodney Atkins.
