Authorities say Snyder led police in the pursuit for 10 miles before being forced to stop after state police conducted a successful PIT maneuver.

Investigators searched the car and said they found a stolen firearm and a large amount of controlled substances. Additionally, they learned that Snyder had active warrants out for his arrest.

Snyder and his passenger, a 30-year-old female from Mifflinburg, were taken into custody.

Snyder was charged with fleeing police, possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or deliver, prohibited possession of a firearm, driving under the influence, as well as other traffic and drug-related offenses. Snyder is being held in the Union County prison on a $100,000 bail.

Snyder’s passenger was reportedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and charges will be filed.
