President Donald Trump’s attorney Ty Cobb is being mocked on Twitter for using one of the world’s most hated fonts.

On Friday, Cobb appeared to use Comic Sans for a statement on Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleading guilty in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Cobb downplayed Flynn’s admission to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian government, and said that “nothing about the guilty plea or the charge implicates anyone other than Mr. Flynn.” Sahil Kapur, a national political reporter for Bloomberg News, shared a screen shot of the statement to Twitter:

But people couldn’t get over the font that he used, and immediately questioned whether it was real:

After Kapur assured them that Trump’s lawyer had indeed used the much-maligned sans-serif casual script typeface for the announcement, the jokes began. Here’s a sampling of the responses so far:
