Twitter Is What You Make It, Ashton

Doesn't Ashton Kutcher know what happens to people who complain about how terrible Twitter has gotten since the good old days? They're shamed with the following adage: Twitter is what you make it, bro. Meaning, it's not Twitter's fault if you hate your feed, it's you and your bad taste in Twitter followers. And that's exactly the reaction the bygone Twitter darling is getting after blaming the media for "screwing" up Twitter. "Twitter's experience has changed for me, pretty drastically. It used to be sort of a personalized experience for me, a really personal experience that I could share," Kutcher said at a Las Vegas trade show for mobile technology. "For lack of better verb, I think the media kind of fucked it up." Like a lot of Twitter super stars, Ashton thinks the Twitter club has gone too mainstream. And instead of blaming himself, like a good Twitter evangelist  he's blaming the retweet button: "It created a ton of noise in the system that took away from some of the value," he added. But are you sure it's not you, Ashton? Maybe tweeting an offensive missive about Joe Paterno and then handing the account over to a ghost writer was a turning point?
