Twins' Rosario exits with apparent injury
Minnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario left the home game against the Tampa Bay Rays in the third inning Wednesday night with an apparent left leg injury.
Rosario, who hit an RBI single in the first, came up limping after trying to stretch a single into a double, and he slammed his helmet to the ground. His left foot slipped as he tried to plant it after rounding first base.
The 27-year-old veteran walked off, with a slight limp. He was replaced in the lineup by third baseman Miguel Sano, with Luis Arraez moving from third base to left field and the other two outfielders changing positions.
Rosario leads the Twins with 20 homers, and he drove in his team-high 60th run of the season before departing.
