Twins born on Leap Day at Doctor’s Hospital

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Newborn twins were born on LEAP DAY, which is February 29th.

According to the parents, Sgt. E5 Drake Felder and Brittany Felder, Hendrix and Theodosia Felder were born at Doctor’s Hospital.

The parents state that Sgt. Felder was reassigned to Fort Eisenhower after being stationed in Guam while Brittany Felder was 30 weeks pregnant.

For people who are born on February 29th, you have the option to either celebrate your birthday on February 28th or March 1st during non-leap years.

Hendrix and Theodosia will celebrate their official first birthday in 2028, but the parents say that they will let them decide when to celebrate their birthdays on non-leap years when they get older.
