Katharine McPhee (Scorpion) will play Durst’s missing spouse Kathie in the film based on investigative journalist Matt Birkbeck’s book A Deadly Secret: The Strange Disappearance of Kathie Durst.

While Robert Durst was the subject of HBO’s true-crime docuseries The Jinx, the Lifetime project promises to put the focus on Kathie, who vanished in 1982.
