Tuscola man charged with Sexual Performance by a Child

TUSCOLA, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A Tuscola man was arrested and charged with Sexual Performance by a Child after recordings of women, including a minor, using a bathroom in his residence were discovered.

On March 26, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office received a report about covert cameras, charging cords, and personal items of a sexual nature found in a residence in Tuscola. After obtaining a search warrant, officers discovered multiple storage devices containing about 500 pieces of evidence.

In relation to allegations of Sexual Performance by a Child, Tony Barrera was arrested and held in the Taylor County Jail on a bond of $50,000.

Documents show that multiple videos of three women using the bathroom, including a 15-year-old, were found among the evidence. Additional video shows Barrera moving or repositioning the camera, capturing his face. One video shows Barerra entering the bathroom to retrieve a recording device shortly after a woman left the room.

Barrera was released from the Taylor County Jail on April 18.
