Tuscola man arrested on child-pornography charges

Apr. 3—TUSCOLA — A Tuscola man was arrested Wednesday on child-pornography charges.

A release from the Illinois State Police said Jeremy D. Schrock, 30, was arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of dissemination of child pornography.

State police said they executed a search warrant Wednesday on Schrock's home based on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child pornography.

Schrock was taken into custody and is now in the Douglas County jail.

If convicted of disseminating child pornography, a Class X felony, Schrock faces at least six to 30 years in prison.

The investigation was a collaborative effort between state police, the Douglas County State's Attorney's Office and the Illinois Attorney General's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
