From Esquire

It may come as a shock to your college self that Everclear's intended use is not mixed into a Solo cup with Gatorade. It's true! There are plenty of things we consumed in our more reckless days that we'd like to forget-provided we can remember them-and not necessarily because they're bad, but because we didn't know what the hell we were doing.

In the interest of research, I drank my way back in time to bring you grown-up, adult riffs on our favorite school spirits with a few names you may not have heard in a while (trigger warning): Jägermeister, Fireball, and Everclear. Think of it as a luxe tribute to your pre-game days, or as the French call it, une préchauffe, which, let's be honest, sounds better already. So grab a shaker or a friend who knows their way around a liquor cabinet, and let's take a taste down memory lane, shall we?
