Tulare VA Clinic to close, be replaced with new clinic in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday for the Veterans Clinic that is opening in Visalia, the VA Central California Health System announced.

Officials say that the new clinic is a state-of-the-art facility and will replace the smaller, existing clinic in Tulare.

According to officials, the decision to establish the Visalia clinic reflects the strategic initiative to enhance healthcare accessibility for Veterans. The Tulare clinic will officially close on May 15.

Officials say the Visalia clinic will offer primary care, women’s health services, audiology, telehealth, and labs. A range of specialty services will be phased in, such as imaging, physical therapy, pharmacy, and podiatry.

The Visalia clinic will open on Monday, May 20. The new clinic is located at 500 N. Santa Fe Street, Visalia.
