TSX ends higher as energy, financials rise

By John Tilak TORONTO, JUNE 9(Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose on Monday to its highest in nearly six years after higher oil prices pushed up shares in the energy sector and positive investor sentiment helped drive gains in financial shares. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index <.GSPTSE> unofficially closed up 32.31 points, or 0.22 percent, at 14,871.21. Eight of the 10 main sectors on the index were higher.
