If you want an idea of Donald Trump's pick for Treasury Secretary, just take a look at his movies. That's right: millionaire Steven Mnuchin, the man expected to be enforcing our country's finance laws, has been in the film investment business for over a decade and is responsible for quite a few duds.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Mnuchin is currently chairman of RatPac-Dune Entertainment, which he formed with billionaire James Packer and Rush Hour director Brett Ratner. If Mnuchin's name seems familiar to you, but you just can't quite figure out why, it may be because of your trips to the theater.

Mnuchin bankrolled Batman v. Superman, Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and The Legend of Tarzan. I'll repeat that, for emphasis: The man responsible for Batman v. Superman may very well be the Treasury Secretary.

That said, it's important to highlight Mnuchin's successes: Mad Max: Fury Road, American Sniper, and The Lego Movie. Should he get the Treasury position, let's just hope his White House decisions are more Fury Road and less Suicide Squad.
