Did Donald Trump Just Use the Debate to Test-Launch Trump TV?
Did Trump TV just do a test-launch during the final presidential debate?
While people around the world focused on the third showdown between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Trump’s official Facebook page aired live coverage.
“If you’re tired of biased, mainstream media reporting (otherwise known as Crooked Hillary’s super PAC), tune into my Facebook Live broadcast. Starts at 8:30 EST/5:30 PST — you won’t want to miss it. Enjoy!” Trump’s Facebook page proclaimed before the antics from Las Vegas, Nevada, kicked off.

While Trump has not announced whether this was a teaser for an official Trump TV network or just another social media play by the candidate, it could offer an insight into how Trump TV could look.
The livestream featured Lieutenant General Michael Flynn and former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, and had Trump-themed political ads instead regular commercials.
According to BuzzFeed, the broadcast peaked at approximately 200,000 concurrent viewers but quickly dropped to around 120,000.
After the conclusion of the debate, which a CNN instant poll said that Clinton won by 52-39, Trump was back on Facebook.
“Debate is over but the fight isn’t. The FINAL FEC deadline for the entire campaign is minutes away at 11:59p! Donate now to make this a RECORD NIGHT. Contribute $10,” he posted.

Earlier this week, Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, contacted media power player Aryeh Bourkoff about the possibility of S etting up a Trump television network after the election, the Financial Times reported.
Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s husband, owns the New York Observer.

Kushner and Bourkoff “are thinking about how to capitalize on the populist movement that has sprung up around their campaign in the event of an election defeat to Democrat Hillary Clinton next month,” according to the Financial Times.
