"I May Have To Get Involved"
Does he not understand, that while he has the power to fire Sessions, he does NOT have the authority to direct investigations, or to direct that charges be filed?
It's a simple question people: For six years, Cheney, Powell, Rice and Bush used a private server run by the Republican National Committee for government business. They then “lost” 22 million government emails--they've all admitted to this. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was drumming up support for the war in Iraq (with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction), and later when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons. Of these, most of Cheney's emails were never found. However, nobody was ever investigated for wrongdoing, let alone charged. (Cheney famously said that allowing an investigation would "empower the enemy.") Why were they not investigated but Hillary (who I don't like) must go to jail for doing basically the same thing?
The cadet is already involved in every part of the justice department"s investigations; very, very involved.
While we're at it, why don't we find out why people in Trump's administration who can't pass background checks have security clearances? That seems like much more of a problem than something that's already been investigated ad nauseam and come up empty. Trump can testify under oath for 10 hours like Hillary did.
Will the FBI be looking into Ivanka and Jared using public servers for secure communication?
He said he might have to get involved with the Clinton emails. He already did get involved with that. That is a large part of his problem now.
I believe the question that should be asked is " how does Trump know the emails are bad?" I believe that when asking for validation from him to back his statement up he might be less inclined to push the matter.
As Mueller closes in on the spy, his defense is "but, but what about Hillary's emails..."
George Orwell’s '1984': “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” - - - - Donald Trump: “Just remember: what you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.”
those emails from hillary are about trump's involvement with russians. he might want to rethink making them public.
When will he understand that the justice department and the FBI aren't there to serve his personal interests.
I'm no fan of Hillary. But she testified under oath for 11 hours. Most of it about Benghazi. That testimony was aired live on television. Trump needs to do the same.
