Trump selects Scott Pruitt to run EPA

President-elect Donald Trump is hiring one of the Environmental Protection Agency’s fiercest opponents to head up the agency: Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt. Pruitt has spent much of his tenure in Oklahoma attacking the agency over its carbon cutting policies and is currently among the state attorneys general suing the EPA over President Obama’s signature climate policy, the Clean Power Plan.
