Donald Trump speculated that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential candidacy could hurt both himself and Joe Biden in the 2024 election.

“What do you think of the RFK Jr. independent campaign and the Democrats' relentless attacks on him?” radio host John Fredericks asked the former president Monday.

“Well, I think he’s a nice guy. I've known him. He’s extremely liberal. He’s more liberal than anybody. He’s more liberal than the Green Party,” Trump replied.

“I would imagine he’d not be good for them. But you don't know how that plays out,” he said.

“They say he hurts Biden. I think I’m not sure that that's true,” Trump continued. “I think he probably hurts both. But he might hurt Biden a little bit more. You don’t know. But he's got, you know, not a lot of points, but maybe enough points to make a difference one way or the other.”

“Especially in some of the swing states,” Fredericks added.
