Trump Rat pops up close to the White House
The Trump Rat is back.
The infamous inflatable first made an appearance in New York when Trump was in town earlier this month. This time, the rodent, which is reminiscent of the labor union protest rat but customized in Trump's likeness, is just a mile from the White House in Washington, D.C.

It will be visiting the nation's capital briefly, according to the Washington Post, and is only supposed to be at Dupont Circle for two days. It popped up midday Tuesday and people immediately noticed the giant orange, buck-toothed figure. Look closely for the rat's Russian flag pin.

Snapchatters also spotted the looming 15-foot-tall figure on this rainy afternoon.

The Trump rat is an art installation that came to fruition through a Kickstarter earlier this year Creator John Post Lee told the Post the inflatable rat came about after Trump became president and "this debacle of an election." He said, “I wanted to do something meaningful, and also something cathartic to help myself."
The Trump rat isn't going anywhere anytime soon, according to Lee. “As long as Trump is in office, Trump Rat lives.”
