Trump and Mitch McConnell formally announce bromance in weird Rose Garden press conference
There's a new bromance taking Washington, D.C., by storm, and we're not really sure how to feel about it.
On Monday afternoon, President Donald Trump and Majority Senate Leader Mitch McConnell met in the Rose Garden to discuss their upcoming agenda with regard to taxes, healthcare, judicial nominees, and more. But all they could really talk about was how much they love each other.

After what we're assuming was a lovely lunch filled with electric chemistry and deep, meaningful conversation, the two new best bros shared a mic and a podium to live out a political bromance right of passage: tag-teaming a press conference.
There, amidst discussion of judges, tax reforms, and "failing" Obamacare, the men slipped in enough reassurances about their budding bromance to ensure no one loses sight of what's really important.
"My relationship with this gentleman is outstanding," Trump said with McConnell by his side, later describing the two as "closer than ever before."

"I want to underscore what the president said: we have the same agenda," McConnell reminded America, revealing that the two talk frequently on weekends.
The Twitter-verse picked up on and cautiously tested the waters of this new merger, sharing the sweet moments while remaining extremely skeptical. (It's hard to forget about Trump's unpredictable Twitter rants and the past history of the two, after all.)
This #Trump / #McConnell sudden bromance is too funny. Manbaby will surely be Twitter-bashing ole Mitch in no time.

Perhaps all of those pats on the back were simply Mitch asserting himself for some mic time?

Let's not forget about Trump's past tweets about Mitch, which could be seen as, um, less than friendly.
The only problem I have with Mitch McConnell is that, after hearing Repeal & Replace for 7 years, he failed! That should NEVER have happened!

Can you believe that Mitch McConnell, who has screamed Repeal & Replace for 7 years, couldn't get it done. Must Repeal & Replace ObamaCare!

Senator Mitch McConnell said I had "excessive expectations," but I don't think so. After 7 years of hearing Repeal & Replace, why not done?

What is Mitch McConnell thinking?...make the big deal!

When asked about his previous tweets seeming to doubt McConnell's ability to perform, Trump simply said, "This man is going to get it done..."
