Trump ignores Oscars, but his son weighs in

So far, Trump hasn’t taken the bait.

Despite all those jokes during the Academy Awards aimed at President Donald Trump and the heartfelt speeches by celebrities targeting his policies, POTUS hasn’t weighed in on Hollywood’s biggest night.

Instead, the president tweeted on Monday morning about health care:

Yet Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. did have something to say about the telecast. The younger Trump referenced Sunday night’s In Memorium flub, where producers used the wrong photograph during the death reel — inserting an image of a living producer instead of a recently deceased costume designer.

Then again, it took Trump nearly a week to break his silence on The Apprentice premiere ratings. But, somehow, we expect that sooner or later he’s going to have a reaction to all this.
