WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – Voters across 15 states are heading to the polls to pick their candidate for president.

It’s the most significant day for voters until Election Day in November.

All eyes will be on the Republican primary results, if Donald Trump pulls off a sweeping victory, it could signal the beginning of the end of his race with Nikki Haley and the start of a general election match up with President Joe Biden.

In her final campaign stop before Super Tuesday, GOP candidate Nikki Haley urged her supporters in Texas to cast their votes.

“We all have a chance to make our voices heard in the loudest of ways,” she said.

But if you believe the polls, Haley is in for a disappointing night.

The polls say former president Donald Trump is leading Haley by 50-70% depending on the state and he’s already looking forward to a rematch against President Biden.

“The poll numbers are very good. We’re beating President Biden,” Trump said.

President Biden is painting a different picture.

“Last five polls you had me for, I’m winning, five, five in a row,” Biden said.

However, Biden faces some opposition within his own party.

“I voted uncommitted,” said Massachusetts voter Anita Smithson.

More voters are promising to follow Michigan’s lead, where more than 100,000 people voted uncommitted, as a protest over the president’s handling of the war in Gaza.

Political analyst Todd Belt says Super Tuesday’s results will provide fresh insights into what voters are thinking.

“Whether or not they’re really satisfied with these candidates and what their main concerns are,” Belt said.

It may be Haley’s last hurrah.

“This is likely the end of the Haley campaign after Super Tuesday,” Belt added.

Over the weekend Haley vowed to stay in the race as long as it remains competitive,

Notably, the Haley campaign does not have any events scheduled in the coming days.
