The giant baby has arrived, and by that we mean not only has Donald Trump landed in the United Kingdom but the blimp of him in a nappy preparing to sail over protests in London tomorrow is ready to go.

Ahead of arriving in the UK, Trump spoke at the NATO summit where he described the Britain as a "pretty hot spot right now" thanks to the wave of ministerial resignations over Brexit. So hot.

In addition to saying he was "fine" with planned protests which have likely caused him to avoid London he made the nonsensical claim that people in the UK really like him.

"I think they like me a lot in the UK; I think they agree with me on immigration," he said. "You see what's going on throughout the world with immigration... I think that's why Brexit happened."

The president commented that people had "voted to break it up, so I imagine that's what they'll do" and "Brexit is Brexit".

During Trump's four day visit he will barely see London, likely in order to avoid the mass protest being planned tomorrow. Instead he will, attend a gala dinner at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, and the following day he will hold talks with the prime minister at her Chequers country retreat in Buckinghamshire.

This afternoon his motorcade traveled through London where protesters are already making their views on his visit known.
