President Donald Trump has fulfilled a “Biblical prophecy” by moving the United States embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Judge Jeanine Pirro claimed on her Fox News show on Saturday. The new embassy, which has been met by criticism from Palestinians and the European Union, is set to open on Monday.

Pirro was in Israel ahead of the relocation from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Calling the move a “truly historic moment in Israel’s history,” Pirro said Trump’s decision to relocate the embassy was one celebrated by the people of Israel.

The Fox News host praised Trump for the move, claiming it proves he is more trustworthy than past presidents, including Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. All three presidents had signed waivers to delay the embassy move.

“Trump has assured the world that his word is worth more than any former U.S. president,” Pirro said. “His word is more than any treaty and stronger than any UN resolution.”

Pirro compared Trump to an ancient king and proclaimed the president has fulfilled a “Biblical prophecy.”

“Donald Trump recognized history, he like King Cyrus before him, fulfilled the Biblical prophecy of the God worshipped by Jews, Christians and, yes, Muslims, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state and that the Jewish people finally deserve a righteous, free and sovereign Israel,” Pirro said.

Pirro’s remarks drummed up differing opinions on Twitter.

“I remember reading about the United States embassy in the bible. Can anyone tell me whether it was in Deuteronomy or Leviticus? Can’t recall,” tweeted user @cueninja.

Others praised Pirro for her opening comments, calling them “great” or “refreshing.”

“You nailed it tonight, Judge Jeanine! President Trump had delivered his promise, leadership, strength, and supported the biblical word that Jerusalum [sic] IS the capital of Israel,” wrote Christine H. Robinson.
