Truck crashes into O’Reilly Auto Parts in Battle Ground
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A truck slammed into the O’Reilly Auto Parts Battle Ground shortly before 2 p.m. on April Fool’s Day, damaging a main structural support for the building.
The Battle Ground Police Department said that the driver suffered minor injuries in the crash. No other people were injured by the crash.
“When officers arrived, they observed a single pickup truck that had collided into the west wall of the building, breaking through the exterior brick,” Battle Ground police said.

The business was forced to shutter due to the crash. Officials said that the auto shop will remain closed until a structural engineer can access the damage.
The driver is not suspected of using drugs and alcohol prior to the crash. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
