Truck crashes into Loxley-area power pole

LOXLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — A truck crashed into a power line pole today in the Loxley area, News 5 has learned.

Authorities received reports of a car crash around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Styx River Volunteer Fire, Rosinton Fire and Loxley Police responded to the scene on Oakdale Drive in Loxley.

WKRG News 5’s Whitney Leibold captured video of the scene. It shows a gray pickup truck with a trailer crashed into a power pole.

The collision caused the post to rip from the ground and fall on top of the truck.

Electrical lines can be seen on the truck and ground. Authorities are working to clean up the scene.
