Truck Crash Leaves Hundreds of Whiskey Bottles Scattered Across Arkansas Highway

Two tractor-trailers collided in Arkansas Thursday, sending hundreds of mini-bottles of cinnamon-flavored Fireball whiskey onto Interstate 40.

State Department of Transportation spokesman Danny Straessle told The Associated Press investigators are still looking into the cause of the wreck.

Straessle says the cab of one of the trucks caught fire and at least one person was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation tweeted photos from the scene, where bottles were seen strewn across the entire highway.

Not surprisingly, the accident caused major traffic delays in both directions for several hours.

The last year has seen a lot of odd stuff strewn across America's open highways, including 40,000 pounds of avocados, troughs full of cookie dough and, of course, cold hard cash.
