Truck collapses on man

Mar. 29—ANDOVER TOWNSHIP — A man who was pinned under a tractor trailer was extricated, in stable condition, and in good spirits, following the Wednesday afternoon experience, said Andover Assistant Fire Chief Allen Semai.

He said the incident occurred at H & H Enterprises in the 6000 block of Finkle Road around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

"He was working on the truck and the jack collapsed," Semai said.

Semai said it took about 10 minutes to free the man, who was later transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown by helicopter. He said North Shenango Fire Department and Community Care Ambulance assisted on the call.
