Triple shooting near Embassy Suites at St. Charles Convention Center

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – An active police scene is underway Wednesday evening after a triple shooting outside the Embassy Suites Hotel, which is connected to the St. Charles Convention Center.

Police were called to the area just before 8:15 p.m.

Three people were shot and two were transported to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries. The other individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Two suspects have been detained, officials said. There is no information yet from police as to what led up to the shooting.
