Trio of Tigers agree to free agent deals

While NFL free agents can’t officially sign new contracts until Wednesday, they can agree to new deals.

That was good news for a trio of former Memphis Tigers.

Former Melrose star Tony Pollard is bolting from Big ‘D’ and coming home.

Kind of.

Pollard agreeing to a new three year deal with the Tennessee Titans worth $24 million dollars.  In his five seasons in Dallas, Pollard totaled almost 5,000 yards rushing and receiving with 28 total touchdowns.

He’s set to replace Derrick Henry. Henry, the Titans all-time leading running back, is also a free agent.

Also on the move… Antonio Gibson.  From Washington to New England where Gibson gets a three year deal with the Patriots.

Bryce Huff is making history in Philadelphia.

Huff gets a three year contract for just over 51 million to leave the Jets for the Eagles. A deal that makes Huff the highest paid, non-QB, undrafted free agent in NFL history.

Huff led the Jets in sacks last season with ten.
