TRiNiTY BREWiNG Co. expands to offer beer infused pizza
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — TRiNiTY BREWiNG Company is a standout as one of the original brewpubs in Colorado Springs. The Garden of the Gods location is expanding with TRiNiTY Pizza Company and adding craft pizza (with a twist) to-go!
FOX21 lifestyle reporter Krista Witiak visited the brewery, where pizza and beer are always a great combination, no matter how you ‘slice’ it.
“We’ve been making beer-infused pizzas for several years, and it was definitely a TRiNiTY accident,” said owner Matt Dettmann. “We were planning out our first pizzas and said, ‘Hey, what if we substitute one of our beers into the dough instead of water?’ And our beer crust was born.”
TRiNiTY has spent the last several months developing this new sweet basil beer-infused crust in a larger format, and they are excited to share it with the community. The use of beer in the crust adds a very mild element of maltiness that pairs perfectly with the freshly made crust’s bready and flavorful consistency.
The brewery and restaurant menus can accommodate almost anyone’s preference for food or drink. They have TRiNiTY “brewed-in-house” beers on draft, a full bar, a wide range of wines, elevated pub food, and a warm experience. Plus, they are even open for weekend breakfast!
