Officials say in order to receive a refill, TRICARE beneficiaries must bring their prescription bottle to any TRICARE retail network pharmacy. If you do not have the bottle or if the label is damaged or missing, beneficiaries can reach out to Express Scripts, Inc., or their retail network pharmacy for help.

Beneficiaries can find a network pharmacy by calling Express Scripts at 1-877-363-1303, or using the Find a Pharmacy tool.

It is recommended that beneficiaries return to the pharmacy where their prescription was originally filled. Prescriptions can also be filled by another store in the same chain. If the clinician who prescribed the medicine is available, beneficiaries can request that they call in the refill to any network pharmacy.

TRICARE beneficiaries, other than active service duty members, are reminded that they can receive urgent care from any TRICARE-authorized urgent care center or provider and do not need a referral. This allows patients to get nonemergency care for illnesses or injuries if their primary care provider is not available.
