CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 18, 2012) - CBM Solutions Ltd. has been renamed Trican Geological Solutions Ltd., as a means of more accurately representing the division's area of focus and its integration with the rest of Trican's service lines. Trican Geological Solutions specializes in unconventional reservoir evaluation, providing customers worldwide with expert field, office and laboratory analyses and data integration.
Incorporated in 2000 under the name CBM Solutions Ltd., the company was launched to service the rapidly expanding coalbed methane industry, and has grown to include analytical services for all unconventional reservoirs.
The Trican Geological Solutions team of experts, under the leadership of Ron Brezovski, offers field and laboratory services designed to evaluate the gas and liquids potential of coal , shales and other unconventional strata. All services, including studies, analyses and courses, will continue to be offered under the rebranded Trican Geological Solutions name.
