Trevor Noah: So Many Screw-Ups, So Little Time To Cover Them All

Trevor Noah didn’t quite know where to begin on “The Daily Show” Thursday night when he set out to cover all the gaffes, corruption and intrigue around the world.

He took a stab at the latest illegal payment corruption allegation against Brazil’s president and revelations that the king of the Netherlands spent decades working part-time as an airline pilot. But the best, as always, was President Donald Trump, who Noah joked works as Russian President Vladimir Putin’sTaskRabbit,” a reference to the handyman website.

The top story should have been Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s bodyguards allegedly beating up Americans protesting Turkey’s policy in Washington, D.C., Noah said. “Sweet Jesus. Do you understand how insane this is?” he said. So far, though, there has been no comment from Trump, who has business interests in Turkey.

But how could anyone ignore the special prosecutor named to investigate alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and a possible connection to the Trump campaign?

“Oh, damn, people,” the host said. “A special counsel is going to be investigating Trump. He’s going to serve two terms probably ... two terms in prison.”

Check it out in the video above.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story misquoted Noah as saying “toss rabbit.”

Since a tie that long can get caught in one’s zipper, it’s considered a fashion faux pas. Of course, so is holding a tie together with tape, something Donald Trump has also done on numerous occasions.
University of Massachusetts psychology professor Susan Krauss Whitbourne speculates Trump wears his ties so long to either call attention to his genitalia or take the focus away from his protruding gut.
But a new Twitter page, @TrumpsTies, isn’t psychoanalyzing why the president’s ties are so long. It’s just taking his bizarre style choice to its obvious extreme.

Now maybe someone can focus on Trump's other ties -- the ones with Russia.
