It's official -- PVC is having a moment.
If you recall, Beyoncé officially made PVC cool again at the 2016 Met Gala when she showed up in a Givenchy gown made entirely out of the material. Now, celebrities -- from Kim Kardashian to Heidi Klum -- can't stop wearing latex looks!
The skintight material, often used in the construction industry to make flooring, pipes and roofing, is becoming the newest "it" fabric in the fashion industry. Not only is PVC figure flattering, it's also incredibly practical -- any signs of spilled red wine will definitely slide right off.
From Kim to Bella, our favorite celebrities have chosen to wear the trend in different ways.
Kardashian wore a curve-hugging vinyl dress at Tom Ford's Spring 2018 show that probably made more headlines than the show itself. Just weeks later, Klum hit the red carpet in a flirty PVC mini dress of her own that showed off her mile-long legs.
While PVC dresses are definitely a celeb favorite on the red carpet, Bella Hadid has also worn trousers made out of the shiny material, while Kate Bosworth chose to rock the trend with her shoes.
