Tree Trimming Operations Begin Monday, April 22 on I-75 Southbound in Whitley County

Apr. 21—MANCHESTER — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a right lane closure due to tree trimming operations will occur on I-75 southbound (mile points 15.0 — 9.0) in Whitley County on the following dates: Monday, April 22, Thursday, April 25, Monday, April 29, Thursday, May 2, Monday, May 6, and Thursday, May 9.

Hours of operation on the scheduled workdays are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
