RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ Tredegar Corp. (TG) on Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of $14.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Richmond, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 44 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 35 cents per share.

The plastic films maker posted revenue of $263.8 million in the period.

Tredegar shares have climbed 34 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $25.70, a rise of 71 percent in the last 12 months.
