Duke point guard Tre Jones beat the odds by making a clutch shot during Saturday’s rivalry game against UNC to send the game to overtime with a second left in regulation time. He then lifted Duke to a 98-96 victory off another crazy play with a second left in overtime.

UNC led 84-81 with just over four seconds on the clock and Jones at the foul line in regulation. He did exactly what he needed to do, making the first shot and missing the second to recover the ball off a rebound.

Jones then sunk the shot with a second left.
