The list of food and beverage companies with which Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have partnered — Whataburger, Casa Azul, Chicken N Pickle — just got a little longer.

The Chiefs duo announced Thursday that they are collaborating with the Las Vegas-based hospitality group Noble 33 to open an upscale steakhouse in Kansas City.

1587 Prime — inspired by Mahomes’ and Kelce’s jersey numbers — plans an early 2025 opening inside Loews Kansas City, the downtown hotel at 1515 Wyandotte St.

“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said in a release.

The hospitality group, led by Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha, runs multiple fine-dining concepts in major cities: Toca Madera (Las Vegas, West Hollywood, Scottsdale, Arizona), Casa Madera (West Hollywood, Toronto) Sparrow Italia (London) and Meduza Mediterrania (New York City). Several more are on the way in cities like Miami and Houston.

Berman characterized Mahomes and Kelce’s involvement as a “true partnership.”

“Noble 33 is leading the development of the design, experience, menu, and operation, but conceptually, Patrick & Travis’ involvement and input has been instrumental,” he said. “Both of them are longtime regulars of our other restaurants, so a great starting point was bringing elements they loved from those experiences and abstracting them in an original way for 1587 Prime.”

He said a meat display featuring specialty cuts from their steak program will be the focal point of the restaurant, which will have street-level access and take up 10,000 square feet across two floors at Loews. It will also boast one of the largest wine collections in the state, Berman said.

In addition to a chef’s kitchen, the menu will incorporate items from other Noble 33 restaurants, but in terms of specific dishes, Berman said they would reveal that “in the coming months.”

And there could be more Mahomes-Kelce restaurant collabs to come in other cities, Berman said.

“We do intend on expanding the brand with Patrick and Travis starting with the other cities where we have a significant footprint,” he said.

Both the star tight end and quarterback have previously revealed their love of beef around town. For his birthday last fall, Kelce had a 24-ounce porterhouse steak and a filet on the side at the Golden Ox. And he took girlfriend Taylor Swift on a date to Pirpopos, known for its grilled meats (but that night they both had the mahi-mahi).

As for Mahomes, one of his go-to orders via Postmates is the prime rib from Rye.
