This week, honor Venus in your sign: Go to Guatemala for a jubilant Day of the Dead celebration and create barriletes gigantes (enormous decorated kites), a key part of the holiday. Or connect with Saturn in Scorpio on Halloween as you sit at the at the Sala Keoku Sculpture Garden (in in Nong Khai in Northern Thailand) with some shaking skeletons or a stone god with 10 arms clenching swords, daggers, and tridents. It’s your pick, Scorpio: fun or fierce.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

We kick off the week with the loving Moon in your sign, putting relationships in the forefront of your mind this supernatural week, Sagittarius. So zip up your “team Jacob” hoodie and take a twilight walk along La Push Beach in Ecola State Park in Oregon, where the “Twilight” movies were filmed. Maybe you’ll even run into a lovelorn werewolf…. Or spend some time sitting graveside with the likes of Jim Morrison or Oscar Wilde at the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in Paris, and get a slightly different perspective on love and devotion this Halloween.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Mars and the Moon enter your sign this week, Capricorn, giving you energy to implement your desires. Fly up to the Hill of Witches sculpture park in Juodkranté, Lithuania and cook up a cauldron of magic to help you manifest your wishes. Or journey with Pluto (already in your sign) to his underworld domain of the Catacombs in Paris, France, an extensive series of underground ossuaries that hold the remains of nearly 6 million of the dead. Whatever you do, don’t go it alone!

The Moon in your sign this Halloween takes you to Austin, Texas, to watch the largest urban bat colony in the United States take flight at dusk — there could very well be a vampire or two hiding among the nearly 1.5 million chiropterans who reside under Congress Avenue Bridge, just a few steps from the state capitol. Or journey underground and visit one of the 40 ancient Roman Catacombs, dating back to the 2nd century A.D., where you can see frescoes alongside the bones of millions decorating the rooms and tunnels.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Wrapping up the week with the Moon in your sign, journey back in time to the Boyne Valley in Ireland, where Halloween began, and celebrate the old Celtic festival of Samhain, or “Summer’s End,” with a purifying bonfire and a harvest feast. Or if you want something more along the lines of bloodcurdling, then hop aboard the docked RMS Queen Mary in L.A.’s Long Beach Harbor, said to be one of the most haunted places in the world, with more than 150 known ghosts skulking about. Watch your back near the engine room, and around the infamous “Door #13”: It’s the hotbed of paranormal activity on the ship.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Celebrate the end of one month and the start of another by painting your face a skeletal black and white and heading to Patzcuaro outside Mexico City, where the city turns into a sea of golden marigolds and walking skeletons for the annual Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Then get cozy in the cemetery and spend the night listening to families tell stories of those who have passed over, in the hopes that a few may return. Or dress up in your finest calaca (skeleton) costume and pay your respects to some of the bygone stars (like Charlie Chaplin) spending eternity at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. And just maybe win the “best dressed calaca” contest. You do have a fine set of bones, Aries, and it’s time to show them off.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This Halloween, Taurus, journey to China, where the annual festival of Teng Chieh commemorates lost loved ones with photographs, food, and bonfires. Be prepared, as you may also be called upon to help free the spirits who might be trapped in the in-between! Then feast on wine, chestnuts, and cinnamon sugar cakes in Portugal, and celebrate the official last day of summer as fall (and maybe some left-behind apparition) starts to nip at your feet.

In Peru, take part in the joyous Dia de Todos los Santos (All Saints Day): Play some music graveside, eat tamales, and offer a few bites to those who have passed on. And maybe — just maybe — all of the delicious smells and celebration will lure them back. Or go to the spooky Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, where you are sure to witness at least a glimpse of the metaphysical activity it’s famous for. Here’s your chance to be a ghost-whisperer, Gemini!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This week, take part in some paranormal searches at Hollywood’s Hotel Roosevelt, where Marilyn Monroe herself is said to be roaming the halls. Or don your best black pointy hat for some trick-or-treating in Salem, Mass., this Halloween. Just leave your witch’s broom at home for this one, Cancer! We all know how that ended last time, back in 1692.

Grab some festive beads and paper flowers and join the thousands of locals who come to the aptly named “Cities of the Dead” to decorate the tombs of politicians and voodoo queens long gone in one of the famous raised gravesites of New Orleans. Or spend a night in Bran Castle, deep in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, Romania, where you might find Dracula hanging around. Just make sure to eat plenty of garlic, Leo. Ya know, just in case.

This Halloween, feel like you’ve stepped into another world as chills shiver up your spine in the Bosco dei Mostri sculpture garden in Bomarzo, Italy, full of gaping-mouthed monsters and massive three-headed dogs. In Prague, stand speechless as you take in the countless crooked tombstones stacked side by side and atop one another at the Old Jewish Cemetery, one of the oldest in the world. Both will leave you astonished, Virgo.

Take a tour of the NOLA graves with your favorite Leo, then transport yourself to Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, La., considered to be one of America’s most haunted houses with more than a dozen ghosts roaming the grounds. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the most well-known apparition, Chloe, in her phantom green turban. Or if you’re feeling a little faint at heart, put on your best costume and join in the excitement of the annual New York City Halloween Parade, and then cheer on the runners over the weekend at the amazing NYC Marathon.
