Traffic Update: Outside lane of Interstate 85 northbound at Wrights Mill Road re-opens

AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) — Wright Mill Road Bridge has been undergoing repairs since it was damaged in a crash a couple weekends ago, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).

The outside lane of Interstate 85 northbound at the bridge has been closed while construction was carried out. ALDOT said on Wednesday afternoon the lane has now opened to traffic.

As for the bridge itself, it’s estimated to open within the next 24 hours.
