Traffic delays expected in downtown Sacramento this weekend. Here’s why

(FOX40.COM) — According to the city of Sacramento, several streets will soon be closed in downtown Sacramento as city crews work to install sewers and complete road pavement projects in the area.

Beginning on Saturday, road closures will be in effect on S Street from 20th to 22nd Streets, and on 21st Street from R to T Streets, which is around the Midtown area near Sacramento’s Michelin-star restaurant Localis.

The Sacramento Police Department also posted to social media on Thursday to remind residents to watch for signs and traffic control personnel as they navigate through the streets of downtown Sacramento.
